APPLYING ITSELF TO A UNCONFINED EXPERIMENT, TRYING TO GET RID OF ARTIFICIAL CREATION, BUZAO IS FOCUSING ON PRE-SENTING ITS PERSONALITY THROUGH THE EXPLORATION OF MATERIALS. IT CREATES THROUGH AMPLIFYING WHAT IS ALREADY THERE, TO REVEAL AND ENHANCE THE INNATE SELF OF THE MATERIAL, LETTING THE MATERI- AL GUIDE THE DESIGN AND DICTATE THE OUTCOME. THE WORD “BUZAO” IN ITS NAME ALSO MEANS “I DON’T KNOW” IN CHINESE, A REFLECTION OF THE STUDIO’S INTEREST IN EXPERIMENTATION IN UNEX-PECTED MATERIALS AND PROCESSES, OFTEN WITH UN-FORESEEABLE  RESULTS.
